Meet Owner/Operator and Veteran Matt Evans
Centaur Demolition & Disposal LLC is a family and veteran owned and operated business providing demolition, dumpster trailer rental, pickup/disposal, and landscape supply delivery services. In June 2019, owner/operator Matt Evans founded our sister company Centaur Home Renovation Services. Originally from Texas, Evans grew up farming and ranching. He helped build his grandfather’s home, remodeled his family home, and was always involved in building projects. While completing these projects, he honed his skills in construction and remodeling. MATT EVANS’ MILITARY SERVICE
At the age of 20, Evans joined the Army, where his job was aircraft structural repair. Evans served nine and half years, in which time he completed training in combatives, Enlisted Green Platoon, Airborne School, SERE-C (survival, evasion, resistance, and escape), and had seven deployments, including several to Iraq and Afghanistan. Evans served as a sergeant and held numerous roles including building manager, technical inspector, TMDE NCOIC (Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment Non-commissioned Officer in Charge) and team leader.
A One-Stop-Shop for Demolition, Cleanup, Home Renovations, and Remodeling
Upon retiring from the military, Evans worked for two and half years in Savannah as a project manager for a construction company, and subsequently branched out on his own by creating Centaur Home Renovation Services. Soon thereafter, Evans found a need for demolition, roll-off dumpster rental, pickup and disposal, and landscape supply delivery work, and started Centaur Demolition & Disposal LLC. With both businesses, Evans is able to provide demolition and cleanup and home renovation and remodeling services, a one-stop-shop from beginning to end.
